Business Law I Honors Term Paper & Presentation Assignment Instructions
1. Write an 8–10-page research paper on a current (within the past 5 years) legal topic that impacts the business world. Your paper should include: an historical analysis of the topic, an overview of the current law, the effect of the law, and its future. Incorporate at least 6 credible sources, cited within the body of the paper as well as in a bibliography. The paper will be graded based upon the currency of the topic, quality of the research, organization of the paper, and editing for use of proper grammar including spelling.
2. Prepare a presentation regarding the highlights of your findings. The presentation should last approximately 20 minutes and include an in- depth explanation of the paper topic. The presentation will be assessed for preparation, accuracy, clarity, and use of visuals.
The paper topic must be submitted through Moodle by November 18th.
In -class presentations will occur December 7th and 14th.
