Think carefully about a very narrow legal problem (ANYTHING) that can be address through formal
research efforts. The topic should be narrow enough to theoretically complete all of the required
research requirements, using the traditional legal research method that you have been learning in this course. You should be able to succinctly explain what it is, in
narrative (sentence) form, through answering the basic questions (who, what, where, when, how, and why).
Complete your own Concept Paper Alignment Outline. But only write:
(a) a single sentence in the “Problem Statement” block that identifies your specific statement of
the problem, and
(b) a single sentence in the “Purpose Statement” block that identifies your specific statement of
the purpose, that you would like to use for your concept paper proposal.
(d) Accompany that with a discussion post about how and why you selected your topic; include an explanation of your answers to the basic questions.
