The directions for the paper are posted below. I have the chapter from the course textbook attached as well. The textbook must be referenced in the paper as well as an outside source.
Here are the directions: You have been asked by your executive leadership team to write a paper that will give an overview of legal issues regarding freedom of speech and how they should be observed and/or regulated in your workplace. You may paraphrase from the textbook, but do not copy word for word. The written summary need not be lengthy…it should simply provide an overview of the issues below:
• Individual student speech
• School sponsored speech
• Student groups and meetings
• Cyber-World and free speech
• Cyber bullying
• School dress as related to freedom of speech
• Rights of educators
• Academic freedom
• Political public educators
All of these topics are addressed in the attached textbook chapter. Two things that I learend or found interesting should also be addressed in the paper.
