The chapter summaries should summarize the key point of the chapter.
Since the chapters are divided into rather broad aspects of palliative care the point should show where
the chapter name or topic fits into the palliative nursing field.
In addition to this I would like for you to go into detail and discuss (5) fve specific points made in the
chapter that demonstrate the importance of the topic to palliative care.

In chapter one there is a discussion about the SUPPORT study which was important because for the
first time the U.S. government sponsored a study to look at the trends in pallitive care.
