You will be asked to provide your evaluation and
recommendation as to how to handle the issues that the Company is presently
dealing with. Here is what is expected in your Final Project: Introductory
Statement Ø 1-2
paragraphs and not a regurgitation of the facts EEOC Response
a. Provide your
feedback and recommendation to Mr. Sweet on how to handle this situation
internally for Sugar Rush Inc. Do you feel there is a valid concern? Did Sugar
Rush Inc. violate Title VII? If so, how should it be addressed? Do you have any
concerns regarding the interview question that Ms. Cocoa asked and what could
have been done to not illicit those responses or what could have been said
after they were given?
b. You will need to draft a response letter to the
EEOC with particular attention to the three (3) questions they have posed at
the conclusion of their letter. (This is separate from your response in
“A”). c. You will need to review the current Sugar Rush HR Policy. You will
need to recommend two (2) additional Policies that you feel are pertinent and
missing from the current policy. When thinking of the two policies to add, make
every attempt to select two policies that would assist Sugar Rush with the
current problems they are encountering. You do not need to redraft the entire
policy. Just add the Addendums to your paper. (Hint: There are a few major
policy issues missing).
D) You will need draft an Employee Referral Policy –
this is in response to the EEOC letter. This will be a separate document as
part of your Final Project. Michel Munch Email Ø You will need to advise how to
respond and handle the email from Michael Munch. (See email). Be specific

document of your Final Project. California O.T. & Employee Relations Issue
a. You will need to address the matter in California. What law(s) should we be
concerned with? Please give a brief description of the law and why there is a
possible concern. What needs to be done to correct the matter? b. How do we address
the apparent employee relations issue between Sheila Spata and possible Lori
Sweet? Would you take any adverse action against either? Adam Taffy & The
ADA a. Are we obligated to provide an accommodation under the ADA in this case?
What are the possible concerns the Company will have by giving him an
accommodation? b. What are the potentially serious ramifications with regards
to how Adam is being treated by his co-workers and possibly his supervisor? Be
specific.
