Part 2: Notes and Restrictions
1. All papers should be:
a. Typed
b. Double-spaced
c. Stapled (I do not accept papers that have not been stapled.)
2. 5-pages, 12 point, Times New Roman font.
3. Title your paper. No cover sheet. Be creative.
4. You must quote directly from the text. Failure to do so results in an automatic
failed paper.

7. Do not use words like: clearly, obviously, etc. Show me, do not tell me.
8. Underline the thesis in the introduction.
9. Eliminate split infinitives. Example: To happily walk. Change to: To walk
happily.
10. Proofread. Two typos result in an automatic failed paper.
