READ Vazquez’s article “Appearances” (7 pages), the short article “When You
Meet a Lesbian”, and the article “The Matrix of Domination.” (All in Levelfly FILES). Write a
three-paragraph reading response on any topic, but frame your topic as a persuasive thesis, and
write that thesis as your first sentence. Also, incorporate a quote from every article. (This
assignment is giving us practice in how to write theses. A persuasive thesis makes an argument,
as opposed to an informative thesis, which simply presents factual information.)
