Research paper: students must submit a research paper about the organization/facility, via canvas, on or before the due date.

Paper is based off of Orthopedic Associates of Long Island
Students will utilize organization/facility websites and/or contact the facility to identify the administrative structure and services provided within the various components of the delivery system (e.g. ambulatory care, long-term care, acute care, etc.). Each student will then submit a PowerPoint presentation on their selected facility. The research paper must include the following:
Include in the paper the following 8 items: 1) Historical background; overview & description of the organization/agency; 2) Type of ownership and affiliation (for profit or not-for-profit) 3) Organizational structure (Top down/leadership to staffing breakdown) 4) Mission and purpose; 5) Population served; 6) Eligibility criteria (qualifications/payment to be seen) 7) Description of services provided and/or major initiatives, 8) Conclusion (i.e. reflections of the assignment). Include introduction and conclusion (i.e. reflections) paragraphs for the paper. The research paper cover page should both include your name, date, course name/number and the selected health care organization/facility.
Research Paper: Students must submit a research paper about the organization/facility, via Canvas, on or before the due date. The purpose of the paper is to provide readers with a detailed overview of your assigned facility. The paper must be typed using APA format; double-spaced beginning with a brief description of the facility (background) and must have a cover page. The paper must also include at least all of the criteria (8 items listed above) .
The paper should be well organized, free of errors and in your own words. The required minimum length is, at least 2 FULL pages. (You are permitted to submit more than two pages.)
