Think for a moment about how you currently define culture. Write this definition down to refer to later.
Review Chapters 5 and 6 in the Moule course text. Give particular attention to how culture is defined, and to the “Iceberg Concept of Culture” (Figure 5.1).
Recall an example of an issue from your personal experience while working with culturally diverse students or an issue you have faced as an educator or learner in an educational setting. Think in particular about the part that culture played in the situation.
Relate the readings in the course text to the example from your personal experience.
Locate three scholarly resources related to the issue you identified.

Respond to the following:
How does the definition of culture, as defined in the Moule text, differ from how you may have previously defined it?
Describe an example of an issue from your personal experience in working with culturally diverse students or an issue you have faced as an educator or learner in an educational setting, focusing on the role that culture played in the situation. How did you address or might you have addressed the issue?
Explain the “Iceberg Concept of Culture” (Moule, Figure 5.1) and how it applies to the example you described.
Make connections between your example and the articles you located.
Include citations for the three articles you referenced.
