The student will complete an Individual Application/Reflection Paper about the importance of insurance planning and risk management. The paper must be a minimum of 900 words (three pages) and employ current APA formatting (cover sheet, table of contents, executive summary, content, reference page). Appendices with graphs and charts are not included in the page count. The paper will have at least three (3) citations from related insurance planning textbooks, scholarly journals (e.g., The Journal of Risk and Insurance, Journal of Insurance Regulation, Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning), and at least one citation from a related trade publication (e.g., The Journal of Financial Planning, AFCPE: The Standard, Insurance Journal Magazine).
