Synthesis and Reflection
Part 1: Selecting a Leader
Choose an organization (e.g., school, nonprofit organization, membership
association) with which you are familiar. Design a selection process for someone to
lead your organization.
After providing one paragraph of background information on the organization, describe
desired characteristics for the leader (integrating this module’s readings), requirements
of this person, and how the selection decision would be made.
Part 2: Personal Application and Reflection
Write a reflection, summarizing how you can use your leadership knowledge and skills to manage individuals in an organization. What skills have you acquired to help you engage, motivate, and inspire personnel?
Construct your synthesis and reflection in a 4-page paper (not including the title and references pages).
