Position Paper about a Public Health Issue
What Is a Position Paper?
A position paper presents a point of view about a topic, typically either in favor of or against a given statement. For example, a position paper agreeing with the statement “Americans are addicted to opioids,” would present facts that show that a large number of Americans are abusing opioids. Position papers are based on evidence that provides a solid foundation for an argument, not simply a personal opinion.
