This is the Quoted.
As Nel walked to Sula’s gravesite, she did so with a hurt within because she realized how much she missed her wonderful friend Sula. “All that time, all that time, I thought I was missing Jude” (Morrison 162). Nel said that she wasted a lot of time believing that she needed her husband Jude, who neglected and abandoned his family, despite feeling misled against Sula. Morrison questions whether Nel’s marriage should come before her friendship with Sula when Sula confronts Nel about having sex with her husband and asks, “If we were such good friends, how come you couldn’t get over it?” Nel’s only desire was to reunite with her dearest friend. Nel remarked, “We were girls together. In this novel, friendship takes precedence over marriage.

Structure/Framework Requirements:
First Paragraph – Introduction:
Start by giving background information about the big story behind the individual story you are going to write about. I will place several videos each covering one of the horrible big stories which should help you in preparing the background section of the Introduction.
The last sentence of the Introduction is the thesis statement that must follow a certain format using what you have learned about narration and description. Use this as a template: “Although it is horrible and heartbreaking to see in the news the millions fleeing the Ukraine each night, the story of XXXXXXX is even more tragic. He has suffered XXXXXXXX and is currently stuck or pinned down in the basement of his building with no way of escape. His daily struggles include point#1, Point #2, and point #3.
Do not forget to use what you learned about Narration (be in the scene) and description (use all five (5) senses).
Second Paragraph:
Starts with a topic sentence that ties or even repeats point #1 from your thesis statement.

Fifth Paragraph – Conclusion:
Starts with a transition word or phrase such as “To conclude”, “To sum up”. Do not try to get fancy with “At the end of the day” or such. Too colloquial for academic writing. Keep in simple, less is more.
Restate Thesis Statement
Final words of encouragement or “call to arms”.
